Cash-O-Matic will take bettors back in time as they provide a rather old school theme as it will remind those that are experienced players with some of the feelings from the early slot game days.
However, whilst the theme might be a little old-fashioned, our Cash-O-Matic game review found that the whole experience was still incredibly enjoyable and one that the theme only helped to further enhance.
Gameplay
From as little as €0.20 per spin, players can spin the reels for themselves on this NetEnt game. Bettors who prefer to play with bigger stakes can do so, as they are able to place bets of up to €100 per spin; thus providing something for everyone.
One of the first things that players will notice when they play the game, though, is the design. The playing grid is located to the right of the screen, whilst the left hand side sees two meters – the Scatter and the Multiplier meters.
Nonetheless, the game is still rather traditional in the way it is played as it features five reels and has four rows. However, there are a massive 1,024 different ways for players to win, leading to a maximum win reward of 2,000x the bet
Features
Other traditional features to be found – and that can be tested in the Cash-O-Matic Free Play version prior to playing for real money – are the ‘Max Bet’ and the ‘Autoplay’ buttons. Both can allow bettors to adjust and customise their gaming experience in a rather self-explanatory way.
The paytable contains 10 different symbols and these all range in value. The playing cards which feature the royal values – 10, J, Q, K and A – all reward players with the lowest values, whereas the gems are worth a little more. Colours include purple, blue, green, orange and red. If five of the red gems appear on one spin, then rewards of 20x the bet will be received.
Feature Bonuses
There are a couple of Cash-O-Matic bonus features that are available in this game and they all help to further enhance the gameplay experience.
One of the first is the cascading reels mechanism, which is also known as the ‘Avalanche’ feature. This is where winning combinations disappear from the playing area and are then replaced by new symbols in the hope of creating further wins. This will continue to happen on each spin when a winning combination is formed.
The Multiplier and the Scatter meters on the left-hand side of the reels offer some great features as well. Our Cash-O-Matic review found that the Multiplier meter starts from 1x and goes all the way to 10x. This meter can be filled when winning combinations on certain rows are formed. For instance, to achieve the 1x multiplier, the bottom row will need to be filled, whereas the bottom two rows will see the meter be filled to 2x. The bottom three and four rows will activate the 4x and 10x multipliers respectively.
That is the not the biggest multiplier, though, as the possibility of achieving a 50x multiplier exists. This involves the Scatter meter, as players will need to pick up 20 or more Scatters on the fourth multiplier level.
In addition, if players are able to achieve 10 or more Scatters on one spin, they will then be awarded with free spins.
RTP (return to player)
This Cash-O-Matic review found that the return to player (RTP) rate stands at 96.33%, however NetEnt have revealed it is a game of high volatility, thus wins can be infrequent but rather large when they do happen.
